Water treatment add-ons
Our add-ons finish a whole-home water system in Palm Beach County: UV purification for private wells, a pre sediment filter ahead of everything else, and faux rock or shed housings for outdoor equipment, each priced into your quote after a free test.

Whole Home UV Purifier
Ultraviolet light, nothing added to the water.
UV neutralises bacteria and microorganisms as the water enters the house, with no chemicals involved. On a private well this is the layer that matters most after heavy rain or a flood, and Florida has plenty of both. It integrates with whole-home filtration and comes with a spare bulb so maintenance never means downtime.
Best for: Private wells, and anyone who has ever had a bad bacteria test

Pre Sediment Filter
First in line, protecting everything after it.
A big-blue sediment housing that catches dirt, sand, rust and grit before any of it reaches the house or the rest of the system. In a county with as much older plumbing as this one, it is often the cheapest thing on the list that makes the biggest difference, it keeps the equipment behind it working properly and makes it last.
Best for: City and well water alike, especially older homes
Details and specs
Faux Rock Installation
Equipment outside, out of sight.
A hollow faux rock that hides a buried or outdoor system in the landscaping and shields it from the weather, while still opening up for service. In a lot of Palm Beach County homes the equipment has to go outside, this is how it goes outside without becoming the first thing you see in the yard.
Best for: Homes where the system has to live outdoors
Details and specs
Shed Installation
A proper housing for an outdoor system.
A shed enclosure that keeps an outdoor system out of the weather and out of sight, with easy access when it needs servicing. The practical choice where there is no garage space and the equipment has to sit outside, it keeps everything tidy and extends the life of the system.
Best for: Properties with no indoor space for the equipment

Why this matters
Sediment comes out first
A 5 micron pre sediment filter catches dirt, sand, rust and grit before they reach the rest of the system, which keeps the equipment behind it working properly and makes it last.
UV for biological safety
Ultraviolet light neutralizes bacteria without adding any chemical to your water. Standard practice on well water, and worth having anywhere boil-water notices happen.
A proper home for outdoor equipment
Where there is no garage or indoor space, a faux rock or a shed keeps the system out of the weather and out of sight, and both open up for service.
Questions

Which add-ons does a private well need?
Usually UV and a sediment filter. A private well has no utility treating it, so the Whole Home UV Purifier disinfects every drop with ultraviolet light, and the Pre Sediment Filter catches the sand and grit a well brings before it reaches the Well Water Dual Tank. EPA recommends that private well owners test their water every year, and our free in-home test shows what the treatment system itself needs to handle.
Is a pre sediment filter worth it on city water?
Often, especially in older homes. City water arrives treated, but older plumbing sheds rust and grit of its own, and there is a lot of older plumbing in Palm Beach County. A 5 micron filter ahead of the system protects the plumbing and equipment behind it, and it is often the least expensive item on the list that makes the biggest difference.
Can my water system go outside?
Yes, and in many Palm Beach County homes it has to. Where there is no garage or indoor space, a Faux Rock Installation hides the system in the landscaping, and a Shed Installation gives it a proper enclosure. Both protect and insulate the equipment and open up for service.
How are add-ons priced?
They are priced into the quote for the system they join. The free in-home test shows what your water and your property call for, and you get one exact price, installation included, before you decide. For reference, the softener plus reverse osmosis package starts at $2,850 installed.
